I was taken by her positive attitude and how she was able to overcome her condition of PPPD, a worse situation than I was dealing with, by using Neuroplasticity, a concept that I had recently discovered and read about. I developed PPPD/MDDS from a very bad BPPV episode in May 2022. I
didn’t have the correct terminology and of course i was self diagnosing
as a lot of doctors don’t understand the many terms that are under the
vestibular umbrella. It was and sometimes is still a scary world to find
yourself in as its not well understood.
I stumbled across Emma on her YouTube channel “balance your life now”, the information she presents on her channel deals with so many of the different areas of vestibular disorders, their possible causes and how to heal from them…i contacted Emma via email and we have had 2 zoom call meetings so far and her knowledge of these symptoms from BPPV, Meniere’s disease, MDDS, PPPD was incredible. Knowing that after all medical tests from your doctors is clear regarding blood tests and possible MRI then thats when you can start the healing process. I was living in such fear, this thing that happened to me crippled me socially and in many other ways, but just speaking to Emma and getting advice on how first to understand how these vestibular symptoms came about and then how to not just manage them but to erase them from your life through mindfulness, diet, and confronting your fears has helped me already so much. If there is anyone in a similar situation to me, just know you’re not alone. I would highly recommend having a one on one meeting with Emma as the information and guidance is invaluable.
