Or maybe you’re struggling with a lot of fear around your symptoms, heightened anxiety, struggling to connect to your body, even though you want to, but you just don’t know where to start. Here you will be able to start to gently rewire your brain to experience more calm, more safety and more connectedness. You also won’t be alone- i’ll be right there with you from start to finish. 

My Release Classes are aimed towards helping you to find your centre, create a sense of steadiness in your body and fine tune your inner compass so you can feel grounded, present and calm in your body again. If there was a gym membership for nervous system regulation and your vestibular system then this would be it. This is a space to connect to your body, to create a felt sense of safety, to explore mindfulness and practice techniques and tools that you can use to train the parasympathetic (rest, digest and restore) part of your autonomic nervous system to stay calm for longer. You will also increase resilience, so your body can become more adaptable to stress over time.
This offering is a mixture between nervous system regulation and exercises that are aimed towards turning down the dial on your dizziness through mindful intention and body awareness. The classes help to improve proprioception, interoception and neuroception aswell as gently challenge your vestibular system, and this combined approach can help to create that felt sense of safety and stillness that you’ve been longing to experience for so long. I teach you how to work with the biggest thing that can help you to heal – your body. Leading you through a series of different somatic practices each class, you are sure to find something that works for you and your individual nervous system.

The beauty of these classes is that I am your guide, and I encourage you to be your own leader, following your body’s cues and your very own intuition and impulses. Every exercise is an invitation, and if something feels like too much or you want to adapt it to suit you, then that is absolutely possible. For this reason, the suitability of my classes are for those with chronic dizziness from mild to severe, providing you have enough individual resources to calm yourself down, should anything start to feel like too much. Being able to self resource would for example being able to calm yourself down should you need to, by using your breath, getting up and moving around, lying down and closing your eyes, getting outside for some fresh air etc. It’s whatever works for you. You don’t have to do any of the exercises that may gently increase dizziness sensations, and instead can take part in the mindfulness, relaxation practices instead, which are incorporated into every session, until you feel ready to progress at your own pace.
